PreTour Day 0: Monday, May 18th

Arrive to Cluj Napoca, Romania's 2nd largest city and the Silicon Valley of the East.

With a very lively social scene, Cluj Napoca offers someone for everyone. Our PreTour starts here, in the heart of Transylvania.

Cluj Napoca's airport (CLJ) connects to all the major hubs in Europe.

Meet Sorin, our very own sommelier and your main host for this fabulous PreTour.

Sleep tight or party all night, but make sure to be on the bus in the morning.

PreTour Day 1: Tuesday, May 19th

Depart by bus after a hearty breakfast and visit the the largest salt mine museum in the world, and easily the most incredible.

Sample wine from atop Turda Salt Mine, and continue though to your second winery and tasting of the day - Villa Vinea boasting a fully restored medieval watch tower.

Finish the day in Targu Mures, another jewel of Transylvania. Meet local tablers, for fun times and many more wines.

PreTour Day 2: Wednesday, May 20th

Depart Targu Mures, but don't check out yet. You will be back. Today you will explore the Lechința Winery area, the oldest wine producing region in Romania, dating back 2 millenia.

Liliac Winery is your first stop, in the charming village of Batoș. Sample of few of the best Liliac has to offer, then move on to Lechburg winery.

Your second tasting of the day includes lunch at Lechburg before heading back to Targu Mures for some night time fun.

PreTour Day 3: Thursday, May 21th

Early departure to Jidvei - Cetatea de Baltă - the largest single - owner winery in Europe.

Your tasting will be held in the Bethlen-Haller castle before continuing your journey to the medieval jewel fortress city of Sighișoara.

Tour the citadel and enjoy lunch between the walls of this 12th century UNESCO site.

Transfer to Brașov in time for the Main Programme's Welcome drink!
